I was born in ‘63 and raised in New Albany, Indiana. It didn’t take long for the love of art to pull me in. I remember as a small child drawing on everything I could get my hands on, and eventually I knew, this is what I want to do with my life.

The love of creation has driven me to pursue art in many mediums throughout my life, though my favorite has always been oil paints on canvas. I’m sure so many other artists can relate to the sensation of diving so deep into a painting that you lose yourself a little bit, and time has no meaning. It’s like the purest form of meditation, a sense of coming home, of calm. Painting is the only time I really feel that I can let myself be still.
